If you cancel your Blubrry Media Hosting subscription, here’s what to expect:
- Within about 30 days, your uploaded media files will be deleted.
This means your podcast episodes will no longer be available to listeners. - Your podcast feed will stop working.
As a result, your show may be removed from platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify. - Your Blubrry WordPress site (if you have one) will also go offline.
Common Questions
“Can’t I just stop uploading new episodes?”
Not quite. Your subscription covers both storing your files and delivering them to listeners. If you cancel, Blubrry can no longer serve your existing episodes, so they go offline.
“Don’t platforms like Apple Podcasts store my episodes?”
No. Most podcast apps don’t host your files—they pull them from Blubrry when someone presses play. If your hosting is canceled, they can’t access your episodes anymore.
“Will I lose my stats?”
No. Your stats will still be available in your dashboard, but your account will switch to the free stats plan.
“Do I have options besides canceling?”
Yes—if you’re looking to lower your cost or pause your show, reach out to support and they can help find a solution.

If you’re no longer uploading new episodes but want them to stay online, we recommend the Archive Plan.
This plan is offered during the cancellation process and costs $50/year. It keeps your media files and Blubrry feeds active (whether through a Blubrry WordPress site or the Blubrry Publisher), so your episodes remain available to listeners.
We’re sorry to see you go! If there’s anything we could have done to improve your experience, please let us know—we’d love your feedback.
