Pod2Vid lets Blubrry Hosting customers with the Thrive Bundle create simple, full‑length videos of podcast episodes in just a few steps. Pick an episode, tweak the look, add chapters/images, and download a share‑ready video for YouTube or social media.
Overview: What you’ll do
- Open Pod2Vid
- Choose a podcast episode
- Build the video & assign speakers
- Customize the look
- Generate & edit chapters (add images/links)
- Build the final video
- Download and upload to YouTube or social
Step 1 — Open Pod2Vid
From the left‑hand menu, go to Episodes > Create Pod2Vid.
Step 2 — Choose your episode
Select one of your published episodes from the list.
Step 3 — Build the video (transcript & speakers)
Click Build Video next to your selected episode. Pod2Vid will process your audio and generate a transcript. When prompted, assign speakers and click Next to continue.
Step 4 — Customize the video look
Make minor adjustments to your video’s appearance (branding options will expand as Pod2Vid evolves). When you’re happy, proceed to chapters.
Step 5 — Build chapters
Click Build Chapters, set the maximum number of chapters, then click Generate Chapters.
Step 6 — Edit chapters & add media
Review the generated chapters. You can:
- Adjust timing and titles
- Add links (e.g., episode resources, sponsor URLs)
- Add images for each chapter
Click Save Changes when finished, then choose Build Video.
Step 7 — Finalize & download
Pod2Vid will render your video. When it’s ready, you’ll receive an email.
Return to the Pod2Vid dashboard to view, download, and optionally refine the auto‑generated description using Blubrry PAI. Then upload your video to YouTube or social platforms.
Tips & Notes
- Eligibility: Pod2Vid is available to Blubrry Hosting customers with the Thrive Bundle add‑on.
- Best audio practice: MP3 at 44.1 kHz; 64 kbps mono or 128 kbps stereo works well for voice‑centric shows.
- Chapters: Keep titles concise; add links to drive engagement (e.g., newsletter, sponsors, show notes).
- Branding: Use consistent artwork/colors to align your video with your podcast identity.
