Getting Started

The Getting Started section in PowerPress provides a short onboarding flow to help new users either create a new podcast or import an existing one.

When you first open this section, PowerPress asks whether you have already started your podcast.

Have you started your podcast?

The first screen presents two options:

  • No, I don’t have a podcast. Starts the guided setup process for creating a new podcast.
  • Yes, I have a podcast. Opens the podcast import tool so you can bring an existing show into PowerPress.

You can also choose Skip to leave onboarding and continue to the main PowerPress settings.

Tip: If you are launching a brand-new show, choose Create Podcast. If your podcast already exists and has an RSS feed, choose Import RSS Feed.
