If your show notes look different across podcast apps, this is normal. Podcast apps and directories do not all display formatting the same way, even when using the same RSS feed.
Note: Differences in formatting are usually not caused by an issue with PowerPress or your podcast feed.
Why Show Notes Look Different
Podcast apps control how they display content from your RSS feed. This means:
- Some apps support rich formatting (links, lists, spacing)
- Some apps remove or simplify formatting
- Some apps strip HTML entirely
Because each app handles formatting differently, your show notes may appear correctly in one app but look simplified or altered in another.
