Destinations

The Destinations tab helps you submit and manage your podcast across major listening platforms and directories.

This page covers the available destination platforms, how to use your podcast RSS feed, and the platform-specific details shown when a destination is selected.

Select Destination Point

Choose a destination platform to view or manage the information needed to submit your podcast.

Available destinations may include:

  • RSS
  • Apple Podcasts
  • Spotify
  • Podcast Index
  • Subscribe on Android
  • iHeartRadio
  • Pandora
  • Podchaser
  • Amazon Music
  • Deezer
  • TuneIn
  • Gaana
  • JioSaavn

Tip: Submit your podcast to multiple supported destinations to make it easier for listeners to find your show on their preferred platform.

Before You Submit

Before submitting your podcast to any directory, you must have at least one published episode in your podcast RSS feed.

This can be a full episode, a trailer, or a pilot episode.

Warning: Most podcast directories require at least one published episode in your RSS feed before your podcast can be submitted.

Your next step is to record and publish your first episode. Once it is live, you can begin submitting your show to your chosen directories.

RSS

The RSS destination displays your podcast RSS feed URL for submission to podcast directories.

Directory listing URLs are also used by player subscribe links, subscribe sidebar widgets, and subscribe page shortcodes. Showing this link is always recommended.

  • Show link in subscribe sidebar: Displays the RSS link in the subscribe sidebar.
  • Show link on subscribe page: Displays the RSS link on the subscribe page.
Note: Your RSS feed URL is the primary address used when submitting your podcast to most directories.

Listing URL Destinations

Most destinations in this section use the same general setup.

When you select a supported platform, PowerPress typically displays:

  • a help link explaining how to submit your podcast to that platform
  • a Listing URL field for your accepted show URL on that platform
  • Show link in subscribe sidebar
  • Show link on subscribe page

This pattern applies to platforms such as:

  • Spotify
  • Podcast Index
  • iHeartRadio
  • Pandora
  • Podchaser
  • Amazon Music
  • Deezer
  • Gaana
  • JioSaavn
  • Anghami
  • YouTube Music

After your podcast is accepted on one of these services, paste the platform’s public listing URL into the appropriate field.

Tip: Adding listing URLs lets PowerPress display destination-specific subscribe links in supported areas of your website.

Apple Podcasts

When Apple Podcasts is selected as the destination, PowerPress displays the fields needed to connect your Apple Podcasts listing.

  • Apple Subscription URL: Enter the Apple Podcasts listing URL after your podcast has been accepted into Apple Podcasts.
  • Apple Claim Token: Enter the claim token used to claim your show in Apple Podcasts Connect.
  • Show link in subscribe sidebar: Displays the Apple Podcasts link in the subscribe sidebar.
  • Show link on subscribe page: Displays the Apple Podcasts link on the subscribe page.

PowerPress also provides a link to Apple’s submission instructions so you can submit your podcast and then return to enter the Subscription URL.

Tip: Apple will email your Subscription URL to the Apple email address associated with your podcast once your show is accepted into Apple Podcasts.
Note: The Apple Claim Token is used to claim your podcast from within your Apple Podcasts Connect account.

Subscribe on Android

The Subscribe on Android destination displays a generated subscription URL for Android podcast apps.

  • Android URL: Displays the generated Subscribe on Android URL for your podcast.
  • Show link in subscribe sidebar: Displays the Android link in the subscribe sidebar.
  • Show link on subscribe page: Displays the Android link on the subscribe page.

Subscribe by Email

The Subscribe by Email destination displays a generated email subscription URL for your podcast.

  • Email URL: Displays the generated Subscribe by Email URL for your podcast.
  • Show link in subscribe sidebar: Displays the email subscription link in the subscribe sidebar.
  • Show link on subscribe page: Displays the email subscription link on the subscribe page.

TuneIn

TuneIn no longer accepts new podcast submissions.

If you already have a valid TuneIn listing URL from before submissions were discontinued, you can still enter it here.

  • TuneIn Listing URL: Enter your existing TuneIn listing URL.
  • Show link in subscribe sidebar: Displays the TuneIn link in the subscribe sidebar.
  • Show link on subscribe page: Displays the TuneIn link on the subscribe page.
Warning: TuneIn is no longer taking podcast submissions, so this field is only useful if your podcast already has an existing TuneIn URL.
