At Blubrry, we are proud to empower podcasters by supporting trends like programmatic advertising. This guide will help Blubrry Hosting customers, including both Blubrry Publisher (Podcaster Dashboard) and PowerPress users, get started with programmatic advertising quickly and easily.
Step 1: Locate Your Podcast RSS Feed URL
- For Blubrry Publisher Users:
- Go to Show > Manage in the Blubrry Podcaster Dashboard.
- Locate the RSS feed URL under the Podcast Feed header. It should look like this:
https://feeds.blubrry.com/feeds/KEYWORD.xml
- For Blubrry PowerPress Users:
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to PowerPress > Feeds.
- Your feed URL will be listed near the top, typically formatted as:
https://YOURDOMAIN/feed/podcast
- Note: If you’re using advanced settings within PowerPress, this URL may vary. For more information on adjusting these settings, refer to our PowerPress Advanced Settings guide.
Step 2: Enable Programmatic Advertising
- Log in to your Blubrry account.
- From the sidebar menu, select Make Money.
- In the Advertising/Promotions section, click Get Started.
- Under Programmatic Advertising, click Get Started.
You’ll see a list of all shows associated with your account.
- For Blubrry Publisher Users: Next to your show title, click Enable in the Action column to activate programmatic advertising.
- For Blubrry PowerPress Users: With your podcast feed URL already set up in PowerPress, locate your show title on this page and click Enable in the Action column to activate ads.
Confirmation and Activation
Once you’ve enabled programmatic advertising, your show is ready to serve ads automatically. You’ll receive a confirmation on-screen, indicating the setup is complete.
