  1. Hi there

I’ve been using PowerPress for some time now, and I love it. BUT, when I use a podcast manager to download my podcast, the cover i not my image, and I don’t know why.

Can you help me with these? Sorry if this is not the proper channel, didn’t find another one.

    1. Hello Willy,

There are 2 places for images you need to be concerned about with a podcast. The images configured in PowerPress is for directory listing and program level views. Some applications use this image when playing episodes. Other players utilize the image stored in the media file itself. This image is saved to your mp3 files using what are called ID3 tags. You can learn more about ID3 tags in our podcasting manual.

IF you are using Blubrry Podcast Hosting and PowerPress together, you can have an image automatically written to your mp3 tags at the time each podcast is published. To do this, go to “PowerPress” > “Mp3 Tags” menu to enable.
