Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) refers to a payment model in which podcasters earn money based on the number of users they successfully direct to purchase a product or service. This is tracked by giving podcasters a unique referral code, which they promote to their audience.
Another common term is CPM, or Cost Per Thousand, which describes a payment structure where podcasters are compensated based on the number of downloads their podcast receives during the advertising campaign. Advertisers pay a predetermined flat rate for every thousand downloads, which is agreed upon during the negotiation process.
The Procedures
First and foremost, your podcast needs to be a part of the community. If your podcast is not with us but you want to be considered, then you can add your podcast (or podcasts) after you sign up for a basic user account.
All member podcasts need to have their advertising survey completed to be considered for inclusion in any advertising deal. The ad survey is the questionnaire that assists us with aggregating shows for inclusion in ad deals.
