Music For The Missing Children Features Grammy Winner

This is a great example of how podcasting can make connections.

The producers of the Music For The Missing Children video podcast have been using independent music as a way to add some spice to their videos highlighting children who are missing. Evidently they’ve been getting some attention.

They were contacted by the winner of a 2007 Grammy Award about including music in a future podcast. The result of that contact can be heard in Episode 6 of their podcast. The episode features Native American artist Mary Youngblood performing the song Play With Me.

I think this highlights the fact that artists really want to get the maximum exposure possible for their music. And podcasting certainly provides one of the best opportunities for that to occur. We look forward to more exciting tales of podcasters connecting with artists through the creative use of music in their podcast episodes.
