137. The Most Common Weight Loss Mistakes Runners Make

August 12, 2022

I keep hearing from other coaches this crazy idea that, as a runner, you cannot lose weight while training for a race.

Most runners who set out to lose weight will probably make some mistakes along the way.

And since I exclusively coach runners trying to lose the extra pounds, I’ve seen every mistake possible and then some.

So a big part of what I do now is to help runners NOT make those mistakes!

You can absolutely lose weight while training for a race, AND maintain or even improve your running performance, you just have to focus on a few key things.

Today on the podcast I’ll talk about the most common weight loss mistakes runners make, and what you can do to avoid making them.
