What does God ask of us: Pray hopefully (Micah 7:1-20)

June 25, 2014
The closer you get to situations that seem hopeless, the harder it is to hold on to any sense that God can do something to change things. It might be about things at work, or at home, or just a general awareness about yourself. Then we are left with a number of responses: we can shrug our shoulder and say ‘oh well’, or we can just complain endlessly.

But when we read the Bible we are re-called to a more difficult response – can we hold on to the promise that God is still at work here, hears our prayers and uses us to make a difference in the midst of all that seems impossible.

We finish our series on Micah by hearing him encourage us to pray with hope.
