We finish up Esther by looking at the reason that the events were originally written and passed around (outside of Divine Inspiration) and see that there are probably things in our life that we need to pass on and celebrate with others as well!

We look in Proverbs 10 to see a couple of "litmus tests" that will help us to know if we (or others around us) are Biblically wise. Solomon helps us to understand how the words that we use reflect what is inside of us.

In Esther ch. 7 we see the wrath of king Xerxes against Haman, and we are reminded that God's wrath against sin will one day be released as well. (As well as why that isn't a scary thought for Christians)

In Esther 5-6 we see more of the story of Haman and Mordecai, and a wonderful reminder of how God promises reward to His children, but reward in His way and in His time.

[Sermon begins at 3:40 and ends at 32:30] In these chapters we see Esther realizing and admitting that this story, and her life, aren't about her, but they are about God! She displays a commitment to God above even herself, and pushes us to do that same.

In Esther 4 we see the faith of Mordecai being unshaken by terrible circumstances. We are reminded when times are greatly troubling, we must remember the God is greater. That when our plans are dashed, that His plan is still perfect!
