I was so sad to see the end of an era when Petite Maison served its last dinner in November.  They were at the top of their game, a high point in revenue, but the opportunity came for James and Wendy Porter to sell the restaurant to a new guard of enthusiastic restaurateurs.  Welcome Sean Zimmerman at The Upton.  In this interview, I belly up to a familiar bar with Sean to hear about the changes they've made to the space, their vision for the restaurant in Old Town and the deep history lesson behind the name "The Upton".
