Today I bring you my insights from 2 chapters of the fascinating book by Robert Greene titled The 48 Laws of Power.  Both laws,law #4 – Always say less than necessary, andlaw # 9 – Win through your actions, never through argumentare both closely connected and are two areas of my life that I struggle with. Both deal with the sensitive nature of our words. Choosing words wisely so they leave an impact is a skill I wish to possess. And Greene does a wonderful job illustrating not only how to follow these laws but their usefulness.While the tone and the absoluteness can seem off-putting, leaving the reader wondering whom to exert power over, I find this book fills holes where my character is weak and a the same time gives me wisdom to detect the power play of others.I highly encourage adding it to your reading list to help you become a mentally stronger person.
