Podcast 122 – Developing Lacrosse Players with Sam Cleveland
Sam Cleveland is a lacrosse and athletic performance coach based in the Boston, MA area. A former division 1 lacrosse player for Colgate University, where he tallied 144 points across 4 years as a starting attacker, Sam has been coaching athletes in the weight room and on the field for over a decade. He is currently entering his 5th year as the head boys lacrosse coach at Lawrence Academy, a prep school in Groton, MA.
For the past 3 years, he served as the director of player development for the Fighting Clams and Littlenecks, a well-known club lacrosse program. Since moving on from that role, Sam has continued to serve as a skill acquisition specialist and lacrosse coach locally in MA, and is embarking on a project to change the way lacrosse coaches and players think about and approach mastery within their sport.
