May 2024 Stats Report (b)

Yes, we’re calling this the May 2024 Statistics Report, just like last month’s report. We’ve listened to feedback from our Blubrry family, and although the report is released this month (June), we are now labeling it based on the month the statistics cover, which is May.

A lot has changed in the past month. You’ll note that there are fewer new episodes in the Blubrry Directory — 209,767 in May vs. 577, 073 in April‘s numbers. That took us by surprise, but we double-checked and that’s accurate. It seems like some content creators are taking the spring off — and depending on where they’re located, who can blame them? That said, let’s get back at it vacationers!

We’re excited to see higher numbers of shows taking advantage of Podcasting 2.0 features, such as transcripts, funding tags, chapters, and more. If you’re not using these features yet and need more information, feel free to reach out to us at blubrry.com/contact.
