I started Blade Skatewear 30 years ago. No matter how much time has passed, the sense of failure is lurking just under the skin. It never really goes away.

In this episode, I speak about my first "real business." I admit, it was a tough story to tell. Since we usually only hear about success stories, I wanted to lay out the path to why I started Blade and where I went wrong.

I haven’t told the full story in at least a decade and was surprised at how emotional I got in the end.
