Our guest today, Dr. Von Eaglin, explains how men’s roles in relationships hasn’t really changed much over the years, but are men today meeting their partner’s expectations for the relationship? And, what can happen when roles are reversed?
Dr. Von received his Ph.D. in Counseling from the University of North Texas and has been practicing mental health therapy for nearly 20 years.
His research focuses on couple relationship dynamics, and he has previously served as an adjunct faculty member at SMU and UNT. Within his private practice, he specializes in couples, men’s issues, young adults, adolescents, and athletes from youth sports to various professional leagues including the NBA and the NFL.
Dr. Von currently works for the Dallas Mavericks as a mental health consultant on their Wellness Team, serving players and supporting personnel.
He is often a guest speaker on multiple podcasts and facilitates workshops for couples, men, youth, and business organizations.
