Meet the MTA Coaches . . .
Angie Spencer is the Co-Founder of Marathon Training Academy. She is a Registered Nurse and a Level 2 RRCA Certified Running Coach. She has completed 70 Marathons and ultras; she’s run a marathon in every US state and notched a PR of 3:19 at the age of 41. Angie has 3 sons and is a lover of books and dark chocolate!
Nicole Hart is the Head Coach at Marathon Training Academy. She is a Level 2 RRCA Certified Running Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Sports Conditioning Specialist, and Registered Nurse. She is a Boston Qualifier, finisher of several ultramarathons up to 50 miles, more than a dozen marathons, dozens of halfs, and team relay races. Nicole also has 3 kids and lives in central Pennsylvania.
Trevor Spencer (MA Organizational Leadership) is the manager and producer of the Marathon Training Academy Podcast. Not too long ago he was a total non-running desk potato but has since completed 19 marathons, one 50k, 22 half marathons, and a Spartan Trifecta. He loves to write about himself in the third person.
