Artist Spotlight with Jeffrey James Keyes
Jeffrey James Keyes is an interdisciplinary writer and artist living Uptown NYC. He is a New York Times best-selling author for Killer Chef, which he co-authored with James Patterson. Keyes was the inaugural L’Engle-Rahman Prize recipient for Mentorship through PEN America. His award-winning short film Uniform was featured in over thirty film festivals worldwide and his short 181 was part of the first Inwood Film Festival. He just wrapped work on his latest project Christmas, which is a short that will be part of a series of filmed monologues through the Fresh Fruit Festival. His new television pilot script Cream City has placed in over ten film festivals including recently winning first place in the Niagara Falls Short Film Festival.
