The throne room of God is the key feature of Revelation Chapter 4.  It is a truly magnificent spectacle.  And while we have seen depictions of the Throne Room elsewhere in the Bible, this passage is unique in a few ways.

Of significance are the clear references to the presence of the Church in Heaven after the Church Age.  There are reasons to believe that the 24 Elders and the 7 lampstands represent the physical presence of the Church in God’s royal court.
