FBR Episode 27 Create Good Destroy Evil
To create is good, to destroy is evil. When Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, they obviously gained knowledge of good and evil. But what does that mean? Our definitions of good and evil are often subjective and contradictory. The Bible links “good” to creation, and “evil” to destruction. But the Bible also says that God can do evil (destruction). How can that be if God is good. As with most topics, we’ll need to look a little deeper to get the full definition. In this week’s podcast:
- How our subjective definitions of good and evil can actually make Hitler “good”
- How the Bible defines “good”
- The true definition of Evil
- Why Evil can’t exist on it’s own
- What does the Bible mean when it says God does “evil”?
- How God’s “evil” actually leads to long term Good
- How Satan’s “good” leads to long term Evil
- What is dualism and why to evil forces embrace it?
