When it comes to setting objectives & Kpi's, many organisations over complicate it & set objectives at a company level, and as they are cascaded down through the organisation, they lose relevance and applicability. The other issue of course is that many leaders create objectives in 'set & forget' mode, and only dust them off at the half year or full year formal review. As Exceptional Leaders, we must do better than this. Set KPI's that are simple to understand, simple to implement, and simple to measure.
