In sales, we are almost indoctrinated into keeping our focus on the target, the big goal, the prize, and as a result, literally every meeting, every conversation is centred around that prize. This, for many, can be stifling, not to mention, counter productive, especially when obstacles and challenges are presented. When we fall behind the number, it is all hands to the pump to get us back on track, burning up energy, and in many cases, creating disharmony.
