Veterans Managing Death
Veterans are no different than any other person when dealing with the death of a friend, fellow soldier or relative. You would think the reality of witnessing someone being killed or watching your ‘battle buddy’ die from injuries would make things easier moving forward. Not true. The life of losing someone is always hard and traumatic and it requires more than a thick skin to move on. Learning techniques to manage the emotion is essential. Dr. Bryant Speaks about what he does to get by every day and how he manages the loss of his Ranger buddy…his aunt…his grandmother…his cousin…and his younger brother. Each situation is a little different and he hopes it will allow you to prepare yourself.
