• How ChouxBox Came About – ChouxBox, pronounced Shoebox, is one of three businesses that Xavier Vega has started. Choux Box, in particular, was ideated from Vega’s time working in restaurants and the pain of having to enter invoices at the end of grueling shifts. The name is a play on chefs’ affinity for fancy, oftentimes French inspired, foods.
  
• “Overseasoned”: A Feeling and a Podcast Title – Xavier Vega and co-host, Tony, talk openly about the restaurant business from the perspective of two people who were in the industry and became jaded by it. The two are now on a mission to empower accounting firms and restaurant owners with best-in-class back-office services and technology.
  
• Transitioning from Restaurant to Tech – Xavier Vega doesn’t have the traditional restaurant tech story of someone who studied the business or even technology. Instead, he came through the ranks of the industry to enter a business where he was an unknown, but quickly became an accepted member.
