ExpandShare Helps Restaurants Offer a Better Training Program | Digital Hospitality + R365
ExpandShare’s mobile-first, self-serve training platform, now part of Restaurant365, helps restaurants create unforgettable guest experiences and growth.
It does this by providing employees with intuitive, engaging content that helps them deliver consistent, excellent experiences.
At times, employee training can be scattershot, not tracked, and confusing to employees said R365 Product Sales Lead Ty Shehadi, who joined the company when it was acquired by Restaurant365.
“It makes it really tough when you’re thinking about a brand that’s looking to scale,” he told Shawn Walchef during the National Restaurant Association Show. “They want brand consistency.”
What is ExpandShare?
ExpandShare is a learning management system built for restaurants. The system delivers and tracks engaging, impactful training content — quickly and easily across platforms.
ExpandShare launched in 2012 and now integrates with more than 70 leading restaurant technology providers. It’s used by hospitality brands nationwide, including US Foods, Starbird, Newk’s Eatery, and Marco’s Pizza. Its user-friendly interface, automations, and tailored content libraries simplify training and empower employees.
“We’re grateful to join Restaurant365 in its mission to integrate and streamline restaurant workforce management, alongside accounting and store operations, on a single platform,” said ExpandShare Founder Eric Harsh.
ExpandShare’s mobile platform saves managers time by making critical resources available to staff at the right place and time.
“Guest satisfaction is paramount to restaurant success, and the main driver for both is capable employees who carry a strong company culture to customers,” said Restaurant365 co-founder and CEO Tony Smith. “We’re thrilled to offer this invaluable learning tool to the 40,000 locations we serve, and we’re confident that adding best-in-class training to our one-of-a-kind back-office system will allow leaders to holistically grow their business in a way the industry has never seen.”
“Learning and growth are core tenets of Restaurant365, and we know they play prominently in many of the most successful restaurants,” he said.
ExpandShare is the latest of several innovations to join Restaurant365’s all-in-one platform over the previous 12 months. Others include tip automation, restaurant intelligence dashboards, and Capture AI, which brings the power of machine learning to invoice management.
The 2024 Restaurant Transformation Tour by R365 will make stops in Nashville from Aug. 11-13 and will head to Ft. Lauderdale on Nov. 7. GET TIX: https://rtt.restaurant365.com
