This is an introductory episode of a new podcast that I am trying out; Inside I am Laughing. 

Inside I am Laughing is a bit of an audio journal aimed at chronicling the stuff going on behind the scenes in my life. I love the idea of smashing down barriers between the journey and the art because I think that’s where art lives.

So often we have a perception of other people based on the stories we tell ourselves about how different we are. We can use these stories to justify the fact that we don’t have anything good to offer especially when we compare our messy insides with their shiny exteriors.

This podcast is my attempt at removing any pretence from what I do and to allow you to get into my head and into my processes. I share stuff going on in my life, the things that are scaring and exciting me, and the tools/resources that I am using to try taking my life to the next level.

I have no agenda. I just push record and start speaking. If you know me then you’ll know that this itself is a pretty scary thing for me to do. Artwork credit: Kimberly Robyn.
