When Dr. Karen Y. Wilson-Starks created The Voice of Leadership, she set out to do more than talk about leadership—she created a platform for principled, purpose-led conversations that inspire and prepare leaders to think clearly, decide wisely, and lead with integrity.
As the President and CEO of TRANSLEADERSHIP, INC.®, Dr. Wilson-Starks brings more than 30 years of global experience as a trusted advisor to executives across corporate, military, government, nonprofit, and faith-based organizations. Her podcast extends that legacy, offering leaders practical wisdom shaped by real-world experience at the highest levels of decision-making.
The Mission: Leading from the Inside Out

At the heart of The Voice of Leadership is a powerful belief: sustainable leadership starts with leading yourself first.

Dr. Wilson-Starks combines psychological insight, systems thinking, and leadership strategy to help listeners understand not just what to do as leaders, but who they must become.
Her approach invites leaders to reflect deeply, act intentionally, and align their decisions with mission, values, and long-term impact.
