In the Replay today, Kevin reports on a window BOGO that is a definite
NOGO.
Our Horror Story today became a nightmare that went on and on, with lots of twists and turns. It’ a about a surgeon who had a luxe city townhouse just about sold, until the prospective buyers complained about the low water pressure. The choice of a plumber who should have been qualified to boost the pressure resulted in the house turning into an aquarium and a battle between the general contractor, his recommended plumber and the surgeon. Needless to say, the sale went by the wayside. This offers a valuable lesson in what to avoid when hiring contractors.
Continuing on with another week of our Real Estate Roundup 2024, we talk today with Sarah Wagner about two popular beach markets in North Carolina...Wilmington and Carolina Beach. Both areas escaped relatively unscathed by Hurricane Milton. According to Sarah, both areas are attractive to people seeking vacation homes, as well as retirees. She also reports that nearby areas can be quite affordable. With interest rates down a bit and more rate reductions anticipated, she expects a robust 2025.
