Starting her journey in the middle of a school year at a low-income elementary school in Tulsa, OK, Jessica faced a monumental challenge: reigniting a music program that had been dormant for a staggering seven years. Undeterred, she embraced the challenge with gusto and, in just her second year, emerged victorious, clinching both the Teacher of the Year and Teacher of Today awards.

Fast forward to today, and Jessica has become the heart and soul of The Hill School in Fayetteville, AR, where she serves as the elementary music teacher. But that’s not all – she’s also the visionary founder and CEO of The Domestic Musician, LLC. Her brainchild offers a symphony of educational products, including the Curriculum Design Roadmap course, the HARMONY membership site, and the Elementary Music Teacher Blueprint course.

As if that weren’t impressive enough, Jessica is the dynamic host of The Elementary Music Teacher podcast, the author of the enlightening book “Make A Note: What You Really Need To Know About Teaching Elementary Music,” and a valued member of the Teacher Advisory Board at Teacher Vision. Her influence extends further as the professional development coordinator for F-flat Books.

Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Oral Roberts University and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from the University of Arkansas, Jessica seamlessly blends her musical prowess with technological innovation.
