Temperatures will be 10 to 30 degrees below average across the Northern High Plains into the Northern/Central Plains, while temperatures will be 10 to 20 degrees  above average from California into the Southwest/Great Basin - Low pressure will persist to sweep from the Northern Rockies into the Northern Plains this weekend, bringing the accumulating snowfall to many areas. While cool weather will prevail in the East, parts of California and the Southwest will be unusually warm. Critical fire weather conditions are also forecast over portions of California, the Southwest, High Plains, and Midwest, producing poor Air Quality conditions.
