Scattered Severe Thunderstorms; Tropical Disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico - Strong to severe thunderstorms possible across parts of the northern Mid-Atlantic and southern New England, as well as over the northern Plains and northern Rockies/High Plains. There is a Critical Risk over parts of the Great Basin. A disturbance over the Gulf Of Mexico will aid in triggering showers and thunderstorms over the Gulf coast States through Friday evening.
