Unsettled from the Pacific Northwest to Plains to the Northeast; Record Heat Continues in the Southwest - Storms in the Pacific Northwest and the Central U.S. will produce widespread showers. Thunderstorms, some strong may develop across the interior Pacific Northwest, South/Central Plains, and Ohio Valley. Gusty winds in the Desert Southwest and the Upper Midwest will produce Elevated-to-Critical fire weather threats. Meanwhile, record heat will continue in the Desert Southwest.
