Heat Wave in the West; Wet Snow for Interior New England - Excessive heat is forecast across much of southern California and the Desert Southwest through Thursday. Temperatures will run around 15 degrees above normal with a few record highs possible. Several inches of wet snow is forecast across the higher elevations of interior New England with heavy rain and gusty winds toward the coast.
