Potential for Severe Storms and Heavy Rain in the Mid-South; System in the Southwest -  A slow moving system will produce thunderstorms, isolated severe with large hail, from the Lower Mississippi Valley into the Mid-South. Locally heavy rain may cause flash flooding. In the Southwest, a weather system may produce thunderstorms. As this system moves east this week, heavy rain and severe storms may develop across the South.
