Locally heavy rainfall is expected the next few days across parts of the Central Plains into the Mid to Lower Mississippi Valley from possible organized showers and thunderstorms near a stalled front. Precipitation amounts of one to five inches of rain is possible through Sunday from southeast Nebraska to portions of Arkansas, along with excessive rainfall and flash flooding threats.
