Average American Family Has Effectively Lost $7,100 Under Biden, Economist Says
- An economist says the average American family has effectively lost more than $7,000 due to inflation and higher interest rates since President Joe Biden took office.
- The consumer price index, a key inflation measure, increased 0.1 % in November, up 7.1% from Nov. 2021, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported on Tuesday.
- The latest data illustrate why families cannot afford to live in Biden’s America,” EJ Antoni, a research fellow for regional economics in the Center for Data Analysis at The Heritage Foundation, said in a Tuesday report. (The Daily Signal is Heritage’s multimedia news organization.)
- “Under Biden, prices have risen so much faster than wages that the average family has lost $5,800 in real annual income. That loss is thanks to the ‘hidden’ tax of inflation, caused by the Biden administration and congressional Democrats’ policies ,” Antoni said.
Antoni added:
Higher interest rates are now costing the typical family another $1,300 annually. Combined with a lower real income, this effectively costs families a total of $7,100 in annual income under Biden.
- The food index rose 0.5%, the fuel oil index rose 1.7%, and the shelter index rose 0.6% while the used car and truck index decreased 2.9% and the energy index decreased 1.6%, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported.
- “An unexpected decline in the prices of beef, used vehicles, and vehicle rentals caused the latest inflation data to come in below expectations. While those price decreases are a welcomed relief for consumers, the decrease is being driven by a drop in demand, not an increase in supply,” Antoni told The Daily Signal in a statement.
- “In other words, people simply cannot afford these items at current prices, so consumers are buying less, driving prices down. It is more a sign of desperation than wealth,” Antoni explained.

The globalists know this and so they want to get everyone digitally marked and dependent on digital-only transactions for all their needs. That way they will know how much gasoline or heating oil you are consuming, how much meat you are consuming, and it will all be added to your carbon footprint by which you will be taxed for any usage over your allotted amount. If you persist in going over your allotted amount of food and fuel, you can now be controlled by simply cutting off the supply of digital money, which really isn’t money at all in the traditional sense. It’s more like a voucher system.
Once they get the digital currency in place, the next big thing will be to restrict travel by plane and motor vehicles.

- The US Securities and Exchange Commission said it will file charges against FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried on Tuesday relating to violations of securities law, accusing him of “orchestrating a scheme to defraud equity investors in FTX” and seeking to ban him from the cryptocurrency industry.
“We allege that Sam Bankman-Fried built a house of cards on a foundation of deception while telling investors that it was one of the safest buildings in crypto,” said SEC Chair Gary Gensler

- The arrest of Sam Bankman-Fried yesterday was sudden and unexpected in light of Bankman-Fried’s plan to testify before Congress. As a criminal defense attorney, my reaction to the arrest last night remains unchanged: this is the first time that I can recall where prosecutors moved aggressively to stop a defendant from making self-incriminating statements.
- His testimony would have been entirely admissible and likely devastating at trial.
- That is ordinarily a dream for prosecutors, but the Justice Department moved quickly to prevent that from happening.

- Yet, that still does not explain why the Justice Department would not want to hear a full account from Bankman-Fried before effectively shutting him down as a criminal defendant. This is the first time that I can recall where the prosecutors, rather than defense counsel, moved effectively to muzzle a defendant.

- When it comes to cable network coverage, CNN and MSNBC have mentioned the words “Twitter Files” just 13 times and 17 times, respectively, since Dec. 2, compared to Fox News’s 374 mentions of the keywords. A Monday search on CNN’s website for “Twitter Files” turns up zero search results for any coverage of the independent journalists’ ongoing investigations.

- Russia has rejected Ukraine’s proposal for a pullout of Russian troops this Christmas, saying Kiev needs to accept “new realities” with regards to territories in the country.
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on Russian forces to withdraw from Ukraine this Christmas. At a virtual meeting with leaders of the Group of Seven (G-7) on Monday, he said, “The answer from Moscow will show what they really want – further confrontation with the world or finally [a] cessation of the aggression. The one who brought the war upon us has to take it away.”
US Set To Send Ukraine Patriot Missiles In Huge Escalation
- CNN’s chief Pentagon correspondent is reporting the breaking news based on multiple anonymous US defense officials – including a senor Biden administration official – that the White House is currently finalizing plans to send Patriot missile defense systems to Ukraine.
- “The Biden administration is finalizing plans to send the Patriot missile defense system to Ukraine that could be announced as soon as this week, according to two US officials and a senior administration official,” CNN writes. “The three officials told CNN that approval is expected.”
If approved, this could be a tipping point in the conflict leading to direct confrontation between nuclear-armed powers given transfer of Patriots would mark the longest-range missiles sent to Ukraine thus far.
Washington has so far been reluctant, despite Kiev officials since nearly the start of the invasion making repeat pleas for the US to help “close the sky” – as President Zelensky many months ago urged Congress.

DeSantis Petitions Florida Supreme Court For Grand Jury Investigation Into Pfizer, Moderna
- Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Tuesday he’s petitioning Florida’s Supreme Court to impanel a grand jury to investigate Pfizer and Moderna.
- DeSantis made the announcement during a “COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine Accountability Roundtable” Tuesday morning, which featured Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo and other experts such as Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and Dr. Martin Kulldorff. The roundtable also included testimonials from individuals who said they experienced severe adverse effects after receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.
- “In Florida, it is against the law to mislead and misrepresent, particularly when you’re talking about the efficacy of a drug,” DeSantis said. “So, today, I’m announcing a petition to the Supreme Court of Florida to impanel a statewide grand jury to investigate any wrongdoing with respect to the COVID-19 vaccines.”
- The governor added that he expects the grand jury petition to be approved, and that it will most likely be impaneled in the Tampa Bay area. He is aiming to bring “legal accountability” to those who “committed misconduct.”

- Arizona State Senator Sonny Borrelli filed a lawsuit on Monday against Katie Hobbs and Maricopa County for disenfranchising Arizona voters by their lawless behavior in the 2022 midterm elections.
- Sonny Borrelli and John Doe plaintiffs filed the lawsuit against Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, County Recorder Stephen Richer, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, and election director Scott Jarrett for their roles in the fraudulent and uncertifiable 2022 midterm election.
- Mohave County delayed certification of their election results following the midterm election amid expressed uncertainty over the validity of Maricopa County’s results. They certified their results about two weeks ago. Chairman Ron Gould stated during the certification that he was compelled under threat of arrest to certify the results.
