What to Say When Things Get Tough

Nonverbals: A Quick, Illustrative Story

October 28, 2020

When we really think about it, it's amazing how much information we take in -- and how strongly we judge and assess the world around us -- based on non-verbal cues. In this episode, I share a short story about my girlfriend's two younger sons which I think illustrates the point.

Thank you to Jim Cirillo of jimiumgroup.com for the original music.

Thank you to CC Snetsinger, one of the sons I talk about today, for the original podcast art -- which I don't think I've ever mentioned is an abstract impression of the cover of my book, What to Say When Things Get Tough.

Finally, since the story I share involves bullying, if you or anyone you know is either bullying others or being bullied, please visit www.stopbullying.gov for some advice on to handle it.
