Raina, Bryn, Mary, and Darren are joined at the beginning of the second hour by Ushma Upadhyay, Ph.D., MPH, Assistant Professor and Public Health Social Scientist at Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH), which is part of the University of California, San Francisco Bixby Center for Global Health. They talked about a new study involving women who have received abortions and how they were more likely to have a positive outlook on the future and achieve aspirational life plans within one year than women denied an abortion.  This interview comes on the heels of the Planned Parenthood clinic shooting in Colorado Springs, which we talk about in depth.
