Lauren, Lucy, and Darren (filling in for Mary) are joined by De'Chelle Richards of the Grand Valley State University student group Professional Organization for Women Entering Reality (P.O.W.E.R.) and Christine Mwangi of Be A Rose http://www.bearose.org to talk about their efforts to collect feminine hygiene products for underprivileged women.  They were later joined on the phone by newly elected 2nd ward Wyoming City Councilor Marissa Postler.  Other topics included the election of the first Somali-American Muslim in Minnesota, more white women voted for Donald Trump than for Hillary Clinton, discussion of the "safety pin", and the city of Orlando purchased the Pulse Nightclub and will turn it into a memorial for the victims of the Pulse shooting.
