A Woman's View with Amanda Dickson
Greta Thunberg is Time’s Person of the Year. Do you agree with the pick?
Do you know Greta Thunberg’s story? She has Asperger’s syndrome which affected the way she handled the information that the climate is changing, that the oceans will rise, cities will flood and millions will suffer. She couldn’t just shrug it off. She stopped eating for a time. The only way she came out of her deep depression was to go on strike. Her simple one person strike started a world wide movement. Some people think she is an amazing young woman, and some think she is a tool of the left and a brat. KSL’s Amanda Dickson asked her guests what they thought. Amanda’s guests this week include Sharon Goodrich, retired foundation director at Primary Children’s Hospital, Luz Lewis-Perez, director of development for the Kidney Foundation for Utah and Idaho, and Shauna Scott-Bellaccomo, former president of the Women’s State Legislative Council and now with the Utah Women’s Lobby.
