A Woman's View with Amanda Dickson
We’re out and Russia is in Northern Syria. How do you make sense of it?
As we’ve watched what’s happened in Northern Syria in recent days and weeks, it’s hard to understand what the allegiances are. The Kurds are our allies. Have we let them down or given them what they want? As one of KSL Newsradio’s Amanda Dickson’s guests explained, the Kurds wanted to ally with Assad before, but the US would not allow it. Now that the US is out, the Kurds have done just that – allied with Syria and Russia. Does that leave us safer? Is the world safer? The discussion then moves on to Mark Zuckerberg’s testimony before Congress this week and our learning that Russian hackers are targeting the 2020 election. Joining Amanda today are Dr. Lisa Stout, a urologist with the Summit Urology Group, Lisa Walker, certified athletic trainer and teacher at Springville High School, and KSL Newsradio reporter Kelli Pierce.
