Entrepreneurial Thinking to Help Women’s Careers and Business

November 13, 2013

A NEW LIGHT ON OLD WAYS OF ENTREPRENEURIAL THINKING
It used to be joked that an entrepreneur was "someone who hadn't found a job yet." That definition wasn't always accurate then, but today it's a ridiculous notion. More and more we are becoming an entrepreneurial culture—better trained, better able to take an idea, assemble and lead a team to make it happen, and finally achieve what may have once seemed an impossible goal. We're no longer content to sit back and watch others pursue their dreams. We want to push up our sleeves and get into the action. The question is: How do we do it?

Bill Schley, the author of The Unstoppables: Tapping Your Entrepreneurial Power, says, "The entrepreneurs will make the jobs, invent the industries and populate the new companies that will win the war for the economic future . . . we need millions more." His message is that you can be one of those millions of entrepreneurs. He gives you the entrepreneurial thinking rules along with new ways of looking at how you see yourself and your place in business. Pay attention and you'll be right at home in your new endeavor. His sources are his own experiences and those of other successful entrepreneurs, along with the secrets of elite military forces for whom success is the only option. When this podcast is over, you'll look at your goals and how to attain them in a new light. It's an Aha! moment you can't afford to miss.
BILL SCHLEY KNOWS HIS STUFF!
No one understands what makes an entrepreneur tick better than another entrepreneur. Throughout his career, Bill Schley has successfully "done it on his own." An award-winning branding expert, author and speaker, Bill is president and co-founder of BrandTeamSix and is recognized as the creator of the Dominant Selling Idea for successful companies around the world. Before opening the first of his own companies, Bill was a copywriter for Ted Bates Advertising Agency, so it was a natural transition to write books based on his business experience. His first three best-sellers — Power of 10, Why Johnny Can't Brand, and The Micro-Script Rules — have now been joined by his latest book, The UnStoppables: Tapping Your Entrepreneurial Power. In it he shows how an unlikely team – the chairman of a multi-billion dollar tech company, a few Navy SEALs, some members of the Israeli Special Forces and a branding expert – came together to identify the central core of entrepreneurship. This is entrepreneurial thinking at it's best to help women advance their career and excel in business.
