Susan Hackley, Managing Director at the Program on Negotiations at Harvard Law School, shares her expertise in negotiations and how women can use it to increase your salary.

 

Negotiating is a skill that every women uses daily, from talking to your boss, your customers, and even when dealing with demanding requests from your children.

Susan says that men are as a rule much more comfortable negotiating than women, and the lack of negotiating skills are obstacles to advancement for women  in business and their careers.
