WLP Tries Fate RPG: Neon Realms: Episode 4: "Netflix and Chilaquiles"

October 30, 2024

Oh wow, it's Wednesday again. Funny how that seems to happen over and over. Did you know that Wednesday was named after the Germanic god Woden? In Romance languages, that name comes from the Roman god Mercury. Could you imagine if Wednesday was Mercuryday? Kind of explains why it always feels a bit retrograde-y. If Woden doesn't really sound all that familiar, the god is also known as Odin. Odin was portrayed by Anthony Hopkins in Thor, though the actor is more commonly known for his role as Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs. Circling back around to Thor, that's where Thursday comes from. Before you ask...no. Tuesday isn't named that because it's the second day of the workweek. Speaking of work, the crew makes their way through Neon City searching for a place to lie low.
