Don't Talk To YOU Like That! How negative self-talk can hold us back, and how changing my thinking is helping my mindset

July 15, 2019

“I’m not good enough.” “I don’t deserve this.” “I am unlovable.” Recognize any of those messages? As someone who repeated those things to myself regularly, I’ve been there. I know the importance of finding where that self talk stems from in order to nip it in the bud. In this podcast, we look at how we can untangle the spaghetti junction of negative self-talk that exists in our heads. I’ll share the process I use to trace these thoughts right back to the core beliefs we hold about ourselves, and give my top tips on how to then begin to change the message you’re telling yourself. I've been working hard on my negative self-talk, and share my approach and experiences with you here. I've even produced a free workbook download to accompany it! It is not easy to get out of the habit of negative self-talk, but learning some tools and techniques can really help.   0-2: Introductions 2-4 : Defining self-talk, both positive and negative.
