Why You Should Mourn Your Wedding Vision

Introduction

Mourn your wedding. What does that even mean? How do you mourn an event? Is what I’m feeling really the grieving process. In today’s podcast episode we discuss the idea of mourning your wedding or rather, mourning the idea and vision of your wedding in your head. At the end of the day I have never been to a wedding where everything went 100% perfect. There are always pivots and adjustments that are made. It’s just part of the wedding game.

We are living in unprecedented times, a literal page in history. Life is changing day by day and sometimes hour by hour. In addition to chatting about mourning your wedding event we give you tips on things you can do during this period of isolation to make sure you come out the other side in the best possible situation. We have two choices while in this “hot water”: we can get soft like a potato or hard like an egg. I personally wish for each of you to come through this having found a strength inside of you and a strength in your relationship. In the words of Russ, “If you can be quarantined with someone you can be married to them.”
