Grown men wet themselves as the Doctor summons the Time Lord Victorious and introduces the concept of fixed points in time

The Doctor arrives on Mars just as a convenient solar flare has cut off comms between Earth and its first ever off-world colonists. A ragtag bunch of botanists from a mix of nations Captain Planet would be proud of, the crew of Bowie Base One has suffered a broken water filter just as they’ve perfected their first Mars carrot.

Turns out veggies really are bad for you, as they’re now about to be turned into Martian water zombies. But can the Doctor intervene? Or is this perchance one of those fabled 'Fixed Points in Time'? And even so, does he care? And do we, when the best Mars has to offer is an annoying robot and grown men wetting themselves?
