We all come to a place at one time or another where we ask the question, “Why is my life so hard? Why do I have to endure this particular problem or experience this pain or go through this situation?” In Jeremiah 20:7-19, we see Jeremiah hit rock bottom.

We learn from Jeremiah:
1) Doing the right thing does not guarantee an easy life.
2) We are free to complain to the Lord and then we rest in his justice.
3) It's normal to experience both highs and lows.
4) Jeremiah falls apart, but he falls apart to God.
